Grants to help fund Further Education:

If you are studying for a degree or on an apprenticeship, then the locally based Jarvis Educational Charity may be able to help with a grant of a few hundred pounds. To apply, please send details of your course, with proof of your attendance, together with proof of your home address in one of the parishes that make up the group parish (Kinnersley, Norton Canon, Sarnesfield or Letton) to: rachaeljones.jarvis@gmail.com

Want to help tackle fuel poverty?
The Jarvis Charities and Almeley Parish Council have provided funds for Almeley Green Group to purchase a quality infra-red camera. This helps find the areas of a home where the greatest heat is lost through the structure, so helping identify what could be done to improve a home’s insulation. We are now looking for people who live in the group parish (Kinnersley, Norton Canon, Sarnesfield and Letton) who would be happy to be trained to use the camera so that it is available for wide use in the local area. The training would take around an hour if done If conjunction with surveying your own home!
